Kick For The Cure With Redbird Soccer

NORMAL, Ill. - Illinois State soccer will host a “Kick for the Cure” game when it faces in-state foe Loyola-Chicago on Wednesday, October 3, at 4 p.m., in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All fans in attendance are encouraged to wear pink to the game.

In honor of the special game, Redbird soccer will be sporting pink jerseys in support of cancer awareness. Admission is free and $1 hot dogs and $1 pink lemonades will be for sale at the concession stand. During halftime, a cancer survivor recognition ceremony will take place on the field.

The Community Cancer Center, Illinois State’s Student Nursing Association and Zeta Tau Sorority will all be in attendance providing information in an effort to help raise awareness about cancer.
