NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State Athletics Department, along with the Redbird volleyball team, would like to take the time to thank all who have served the United States in the military on Veteran Appreciation Day, Friday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. when the `Birds battle Wichita State at Redbird Arena.
As a thank you for serving our country, two complementary tickets are available to all veterans for free admission to the match. To claim your tickets and RSVP your attendance, please contact Marketing and Promotions Graduate Assistant Maggie Ahern, by phone at (309) 438-3399, or by email at maahern@ilstu.edu.
In addition, all Reggie's Kids Club members have free admission with a valid kids club ID. Members can enjoy Reggie's Fun Zone, opening at 6 p.m. on the arena concourse near the South entrance, including an inflatable bounce house, coloring sheets, Reggie tattoos and more! ISU students with a valid Illinois State student ID, will also be granted free admission to this match.
A special thanks is given to the American Legion Normal Post 635 and Bloomington-Normal Post 56 for serving as color guard for the evening.
