NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State volleyball team would like to take the time to thank all of its loyal fans by hosting its annual Fan Appreciation Day at Redbird Arena, Sunday, Nov. 17, at 2:05 p.m., when the Redbirds take on Drake for the final home match of the regular season.
The first 200 fans in attendance will receive mini-backpacks, courtesy of the Athletic Department's title sponsor Advocate Bromenn. Throughout the match, raffle tickets, fans received upon entering the arena, will be used for other opportunities fans can win a prize to take home. All prized were donated by department sponsors including Eastland Suites, Avanti's, B & B Awards and Recognition, Country Inn & Suites, Holmes Dental Associates, Times Past Inn and Edible Arrangements.
Sunday's match will also serve a dual purpose, as the ISU Athletics and the Redbird volleyball coaching staff will recognize its four graduating seniors. Defensive specialist Danielle Donahue, outside hitter Ashleigh Fisher, right side hitter Brooklyn Hlafka and middle blocker LeighAnn Hranka will all be honored during a pre-match moment on the floor.
As always, all Reggie's Kids Club members have free admission with a valid kids club ID. Members can enjoy Reggie's Fun Zone, opening at 1:05 p.m. on the arena concourse near the South entrance, including coloring sheets, Reggie tattoos and more! Just before the match, members are invited to join the on-court high-five tunnel to greet the team as they enter the court. ISU students with a valid Illinois State student ID will also be granted free admission to this match.
Tickets for the volleyball match can be purchased online at GoRedbirds.com, by-phone at (309) 438-8000 or in-person at one of the ISU Athletics Ticket Offices located either at Redbird Arena or Hancock Stadium, open Monday thru Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
