Fans can watch Friday's men's and women's basketball media conferences, featuring men's basketball players Daishon Knight and Bobby Hunter and women's basketball coach Barb Smith and player Octavia Crump, beginning at 1 p.m., from the media room in Redbird Arena. The event will be streamed live on RedbirdHD.tv.
Due to a scheduling conflict, ISU men's basketball head coach Dan Muller will not be available at the press conference; however, he will be available for media interviews later Friday afternoon in the North Gym practice facility. Please contact ISU Athletics Communications for more information.
Knight and Hunter will take the podium at 1 p.m. to preview Illinois State's upcoming three-games in San Francisco, Calif., at the University of San Francisco Golden Gate Challenge. Smith and Crump will then answer questions from the media, beginning at approximately 1:10 p.m., as they talk about tomorrow afternoon's home game against Colorado State at 4:05 p.m., followed by two contests at the Junkanoo Jam in the Bahamas.
Live video of the press conference can be seen on RedbirdHD.tv, the Illinois State Athletics Department's exclusive multimedia platform. The video will also be archived following the completion of the press conference and can then be viewed on demand.
