NORMAL, Ill. - Due to inclement weather in the Omaha, Neb., area, the Illinois State softball team's three-game series at Creighton this weekend has been postponed. Saturday's doubleheader will be made up at Creighton Monday, April 22, at 12 p.m., and 2 p.m., while Sunday's single game is cancelled.
With the postponement of last weekend's series against Bradley, the Redbirds haven't played since March 10. ISU is 13-12 in the 2013 season, after beating three top-25 teams in a stretch of 25-straight games away from home to begin the campaign. The Illinois Fighting Illini are slated to make a trip to Marian Kneer Stadium Wednesday, March 27, for a 4 p.m., first pitch.
