NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State softball team (14-14, 1-2 MVC) will take on the Bradley Braves in a doubleheader Thursday, April 11, beginning at 3 p.m., at Marian Kneer Stadium. The games were originally supposed to be played March 16, before poor field conditions postponed the Missouri Valley Conference-opening series.
The single game between the Redbirds and Braves originally slated for March 17 has yet to be rescheduled.
ISU opened MVC play this past weekend with its first games at Marian Kneer Stadium, dropping two of three to Southern Illinois. The Redbirds welcome the Huskies of Northern Illinois Wednesday, for a 4 p.m., first pitch.
