NORMAL, Ill. - After a few weeks of voting on the official Illinois State Athletics Facebook fan page, the ISU Athletic Department has chosen three finalist videos that will be open for fan voting. All voting ends June 16, on the Facebook fan page, and as promised, the contest submitter video with the most votes will have an in-person audition with the ISU judging panel.
Fans are encouraged to view the finalist videos and vote for the announcer they would like to make it to the audition round. Voting is limited, so once the voting limit is reached, fans will no longer be able to vote for any of the three videos available. To vote, please visit the ISU Facebook fan page (Facebook.com/ISURedbirds) and click on the contest tab, located just below the cover photo on the right-hand side.
The final round of voting will be open today midnight on June 16. After the deadline is reached, the video submitter will be contacted directly from the athletics department with necessary information.
Although becoming the video submission winner does not guarantee one of the announcer positions, fan votes and comments will be included in the final judges' decisions.
