Camp Links: Information | Online Registration | Medical Form
NORMAL, Ill. -
Illinois State head men's basketball coach Dan Muller and his staff will conduct two more camps this summer - an Elite Camp and a Day Camp - and there is still time to sign up.
An online application is available on GoRedbirds.com by clicking here and scrolling down to "Men's Basketball Camps." A medical form is also available in the same online location. Every camper is required to fill out the medical form and submit it prior to the beginning of camp.
On Saturday, August 3, an Elite Camp will take place for boys entering ninth through 12th grade. This exceptional camp is for players who are serious about playing basketball at the next level. The ISU coaching will be in attendance, running all of the drills, and will be instructing camp with a "hands-on" approach. The camp will take place at Redbird Arena from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., and each camper will receive a T-shirt.
The Day Camp for boys entering first through eighth grade will then take place Monday, August 5 through Thursday, August 8. An emphasis will be placed on the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding and defense. The camp features daily skills competitions, 3-on-3 and team play. In addition, Illinois State players will serve as instructors, and each camper will receive a T-shirt. The cost of the camp is $215 and includes lunch, while running daily from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
For more information on any of the Illinois State men's basketball camps, please contact Danny Doyle at (309) 438-8681 or via e-mail at dkdoyle@ilstu.edu. Doyle can also be contacted if a camper requires a special accommodation to fully participate in this activity or requires special dietary needs. Please allow sufficient time to arrange the accommodation.
