NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State Basketball Coaches Shows have been set for the 2014-15 men's and women's basketball seasons. The six Coaches Shows will be held at Pub II in Normal, Illinois, on various Monday and Wednesday nights throughout the season, sponsored by WJBC.
The Coaches Shows will be Dec. 8, Jan. 12, Jan. 21, Feb. 4, Feb. 16 and March 2. Head women's coach Barb Smith will go on air at 6 p.m., followed by head men's coach Dan Muller at 7 p.m. Both shows will last an hour and feature a player guest.
Both teams will begin their respective seasons early next month with an exhibition contest, starting Nov. 5, when the women's squad faces Maryville at 7 p.m. on Doug Collins Court at Redbird Arena. The men's team will then play its lone exhibition game Nov. 10 versus Lewis at 7 p.m., also on Doug Collins Court at Redbird Arena.
