NORMAL, Ill. – As the holiday season quickly approaches, the Illinois State Athletics Department will provide several ways for Redbird fans to save some money with great upcoming ticket promotions for Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday.
On Black Friday, Redbird fans will have an opportunity to order lower bowl tickets online at GoRedbirds.com at a huge savings for the men's basketball Missouri Valley Conference game against Indiana State on Dec. 31. Beginning at 9 a.m., tickets will be $5 for two hours, until the price rises to $8 beginning at 11 a.m. At 1 p.m., the price will go to $11 and then move to $14 at 3 p.m. The price will continue to go up, before it is capped at the regular ticket price of $22.  Use promo code "FRIDAY14".
Illinois State Athletics will also take part in Small Business Saturday, by offering lower bowl tickets for $10 and all upper bowl tickets for $5 for the men's basketball game on Nov. 29 against Youngstown State. Those tickets can be purchased in advance online or by calling the ISU Athletics Ticket Office at (309) 438-8000.
Highlighting Cyber Monday is the "Birds Win, You Win" promotion. The online, one-day offer starts at 9 a.m. on Cyber Monday (Dec. 1), and fans can purchase upper bowl tickets to the home men's basketball game vs. VCU on Dec. 2 for $14 by using the promo code "BIRDSWIN".
Under the special offer, should the Redbirds beat VCU, the ISU Athletics Ticket Office will send purchasers a ticket to the next home men's basketball game vs. UT-Martin for free. Should ISU win that game versus UT-Martin, the ticket office will send a ticket to the next home men's basketball game vs. IPFW for free again. As long as the home winning streak continues throughout the regular season the offer is valid, and those who take part in the promotion will continue to receive the same number of upper bowl tickets purchased to the game against VCU.
