NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State football fans wanting to wish the players good luck and send them off to New Hampshire in style can do just that, as the ISU Athletics Department has organized a Redbird Football Player Send Off for Friday, Dec. 19, outside of the Kaufman Football Building.
Fans are urged to arrive by 9:15 a.m., and greet players as they begin to load the buses to head to the airport at 9:55 a.m. Parking will be available in the Ropp Lot (lot G-83), adjacent to where the buses will be parked.
The Redbirds fly out to Durham, New Hampshire, on Friday for a FCS semifinal matchup with the top-seeded Wildcats on Saturday at 1 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast live on ESPNU and streamed live on smart phones and tablets via the WatchESPN app.
