NORMAL, Ill. – The No. 4 ranked Redbirds evened their season record at 1-1 last Saturday, with a 41-13 win over Morehead State in the home opener at Hancock Stadium. The focus now shifts to the 113th Mid-America Classic this Saturday in Charleston, as ISU takes on longtime rival Eastern Illinois. ISU head coach Brock Spack will preview the upcoming matchup with the Panthers at Schooners on Thursday at 6 p.m. at The Brock Spack Show, presented by Redbird Ale from DESTIHL.
Coach Spack will chat with Redbird football play-by-play voice John Fitzgerald and longtime color analyst Ted Schmitz about his team's performance in the win over Morehead State and he will preview the upcoming rivalry contest with Eastern Illinois. They will be joined by senior linebacker Reese Edwards and outside linebackers coach Kye Stewart as this week's special guests.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington and sits just off the corner of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network.
