NORMAL, Ill. – There is still time to register for a pregame alumni reception this Sunday, Dec. 14 before the Illinois State men's basketball team plays in-state rival and BIG EAST foe DePaul in Rosemont, Illinois.
Organized by the Illinois State Alumni Association, the pregame reception will take place at the bar inside of LongHorn Steakhouse (1470 East Touhy Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois), just minutes from DePaul's Allstate Arena, from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. For $10 per person, guests are invited to enjoy appetizers and soft drinks. A cash bar will also be open.
Ample parking is available around the restaurant. Game tickets and transportation to the game are not included with the pregame reception.
Seats for Sunday's 3 p.m. game are blocked off for ISU fans in section 111 (behind the Illinois State bench) for $40, section 112 for $20 ($10 discount), and section 113 for $15 ($5 discount). Tickets can be purchased online through the DePaul Ticket Office by using the promo code "DEC14" to gain access to these sections.
