BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Fifty-four Illinois State student-athletes from seven different teams volunteered at the 11th annual William F. Brady Day of the Dozer Saturday at the McLean County Fairgrounds in Bloomington.
Members of the baseball, men's basketball, softball, women's basketball, women's cross country, women's track and field, and women's swimming and diving teams volunteered at the event aimed at providing an opportunity for young people to experience construction sites and working equipment. The event offered the opportunity to watch or ride on a piece of heavy construction equipment, under the supervision of trained and certified operators.
All proceeds from ticket sales benefitted the Community Cancer Center Foundation.
