NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State University Athletics hopes you can show off your Redbird pride by wearing red on Fridays.
The goal of the Wear Red on Friday campaign is to build school spirit and a stronger sense of the Illinois State community through the simple act of showcasing your Redbird apparel every week.
"We know our fans are proud of the Redbird tradition and we want to highlight that support," said Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing LB Lyons. "Success on the field for our teams leads to energized fans. This campaign is another positive experience for all Redbird sports."
Redbird Athletics is working with the Redbird Pride Committee and the Illinois State University Student Government Association to encourage participation from all students, faculty, and staff, as well as the community at large.
