Blog: A Lesson in the Grayshirt

College football is back and is getting into mid-season form. As you watch your favorite team on Saturdays, you may have heard the announcers mention something about a "grayshirt" – no, they're not talking about that undersized shirt from your college days that is stuffed in the back of your closet. Most people are familiar with the term redshirt, but grayshirt is a foreign term to most, including myself.
