NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State baseball team and the American Red Cross are seeking donors for their 11th-annual blood drive on Friday, Dec. 4, in the Redbird Room at Redbird Arena. The blood drive will take place between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Members of the public, as well as Illinois State students and employees, are encouraged to give blood.

Forty-six donors, including 18 first-time donors, donated a total of 42 units of blood at last year's blood drive. Over the past 10 years, Illinois State's baseball players and coaches have helped collect 443 units of blood. Each unit is capable of saving up to three lives.
