NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State softball team participated in the 13th annual Connect Transit Stuff the Bus event December 1 at the Shoppes at College Hills in Normal, Illinois.
Connect Transit (the Bloomington-Normal Public Transit System) and ISU softball teamed up with Children's Home + Aid Crisis Nursery to make a difference in the lives of local babies and children in crisis. Connect Transit parked a bus at various locations throughout Bloomington-Normal and challenged the community to "stuff the bus" full of general baby and child items for the Crisis Nursery.
Redbird Softball was part of the team encouraging shoppers to lend a helping hand during the holiday season.
