NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State baseball team's weekend series scheduled to be played at Southeast Missouri State will now be played at McNeese State's Cowboy Diamond, in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
The three-game series will start on Friday with a 2 p.m. game, followed by a day-night doubleheader Saturday, with games at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
The SEMO campus received eight inches of snow on Sunday night, and more snow and rain is being called for this week. Weekend temperatures in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, are not expected to climb above 40 degrees.
The forecast for Lake Charles, Louisiana, is much better on Friday and Saturday, with high temps between 69-74 degrees.
