NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State baseball team will host its first Missouri Valley Conference games of the season this weekend as it welcomes in Evansville for a three-game series beginning Friday.
Friday's series opener will begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by a 2 p.m. game Saturday and a 1 p.m. series finale Sunday.
Five Redbird players will be available for autographs in the Redbird dugout after the games on Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, all kids in attendance will be able to run the bases and earn Jason's Deli Kids' Cash after Sunday's game.
Kids will also have the opportunity to go home with a souvenir by catching or tracking down foul balls, courtesy of Stolfa's Pizza.
All Illinois State games at Duffy Bass Field this season will feature free admission.
