NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State baseball team will host its annual "Stuff the Duff" game, presented by Advocate Bromenn Medical Center, on April 14 when it welcomes nationally-ranked Illinois to Duffy Bass Field. First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to come help the Redbirds set an attendance record, and the first 250 fans to enter through either gate will receive a Redbird cooler, courtesy of Advocate Bromenn Medical Center.
The Student Government Association will host a Hot Dog Extravaganza at the tent along the first baseline, with the first 300 students arriving after 3:30 p.m. receiving a free hot dog. Those 300 students will additionally receive a premium Redbird pennant.
Students can also renew their Red Alert passes for the 2015-16 academic year at the game. For $50, students will receive admission to all home football and men's basketball games, the official Red Alert T-shirt, and the first 500 to sign up will receive a Redbird football collector's pint glass. The $50 fee can be charged to students' university bills.
As always, admission is free for all Illinois State baseball games at Duffy Bass Field.
