NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State men's and women's cross country teams both earned the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) All-Academic accolades for the 2015 cross country season.
Illinois State was among 210 women's team and 181 men's team who achieved All-Academic honors.
In order to receive the award, teams must started at least five runners at the NCAA Division I Regional Cross Country meet during the cross country season and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the recent academic semester.
The Redbird's men's team held a cumulative GPA of 3.47, while the women's squad held a cumulative GPA of 3.51.
