SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Illinois State softball team's series finale at Missouri State has been cancelled due to cold temperatures. Wind chills were just over freezing, and after announcing an amended start time of 3 p.m. earlier today, the cancellation was announced just before 2:30 p.m.
This is the second-straight season that Illinois State and Missouri State have had a game cancelled due to weather. On Saturday, ISU split a doubleheader, winning the first game 8-0 before falling 3-2 in game two.
ISU will travel to Southern Illinois this coming weekend for three games on Friday and Saturday. A full schedule can be found on GoRedbirds.com.
