NORMAL, Ill. – Karlee Lursen has been named Illinois State's Director of Volleyball Operations, head volleyball coach Melissa Myers announced Friday.
"We're looking forward to Karlee joining our staff," Myers said. "I'm confident her work ethic, organizational skills and previous experience will help her transition into this new role."
Lursen is a former member of the Southeast Missouri State volleyball team, where she was a standout outside hitter and perennial member of the SEMO and Ohio Valley Conference academic honor rolls.

"I am blessed and honored to be able to join the Redbird family as the Director of Volleyball Operations," Lursen said. "I have to thank Melissa and the entire athletics department at Illinois State University for giving me this opportunity to start my career with a great school and program. I look forward to getting to know and working with everyone in the Redbird family."
