NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State volleyball team hosted an RB4L alumni luncheon before the team's match against Bradley on Saturday, as 15 former players returned to Redbird Arena.
At the luncheon, head coach Melissa Myers, her staff and current student-athletes ate lunch and mingled with the former student-athletes and their families. That evening, alumni gathered to watch the game and Illinois State recognized all former players in attendance, in an on-court ceremony.
Those in attendance throughout the day included: Julie (Washburn) Burk (1999-2002), Laura (Ludwig) Doornbos (2002-06), Trish Guinee (1975-78), Cindy Harris (1980-83), Kendra Haselhorst-Bull (1997-2001), Abby (Lewis) Highland (1998-2002), Jenny Menendez (2009-12), Kristin Stauter (2008-11), Tracy Stroyan-Maynard (1982-86), Amber (Rogers) Swanson (2001-04), Hailey (Kelley) Thomas (2007-11), Mallory (Leggett) White (2007-11), Paige White (2001-04), Tabitha (Aldridge) Visk (2008-12) and Kristin (Kueltzo) Zvonar (1993-97).
Both Haselhorst-Bull and Stroyan-Maynard are members of the Athletics Percy Family Hall of Fame.
