TOLEDO, Ohio – The Illinois State men's tennis team fell, 7-0, at Toledo Sunday at the Shadow Valley Tennis Club. The squad's record is now 4-7.
Toledo claimed the doubles point as Vince Anzaline and Serien Olmedo defeated Egehan Sertkaya and Peter Foersom, 6-0. Juan Carranza and Reid Teatsorth defeated Matias Chomali by default.
In singles play, Stjepan Sisko defeated Dylan Steffens, 6-4, 6-4. Vince Anzalone defeated Andreas Boers, 7-5, 6-2. Luka Vitosevic defeated Sertkaya, 6-4, 5-7, 10-8. Reid Teatsorth defeated Chomali, 6-0, 6-2. Thawin Suksathaporn defeated Foersom, 6-4, 6-4.
