Tampa, Fla. – Due to inclement weather, the Illinois State softball schedule at the USF Tournament has been adjusted to accommodate the tournament teams' travel. The Redbirds will open the season against three 2016 NCAA Tournament teams in Tampa, Florida.

The Redbirds will play their season opener against No. 25 USF Thursday at 5 p.m., as scheduled. Friday, Illinois State takes on No. 6 Michigan at 1 p.m. followed by No. 4 Florida at 3:15 p.m. Saturday's game versus Delaware has been pushed back to 6:45 p.m. The Redbirds will wrap up the opening weekend against St. John's Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
