Chicago, Ill. – The Illinois State men's tennis team fell, 7-0, at DePaul Friday. The squad's record is now 5-10.
DePaul claimed the doubles point as Urh Krajnc Domiter and Matias Chomali fell to Alex Galoustian and Nathan de Veer, 6-2. Andreas Boers and Egehan Sertkaya were defeated by Fran Tonejc and Christopher Casati, 6-2.
In singles play, DePaul's Alex Galoustian topped Krajnc Domiter, 5-7, 6-2, 6-3. Dylan Steffens lost to Nathan de Veer, 6-4, 3-6, 7-5. Boers fell to Boris Spanjaard, 7-6, 6-3. Chomali was defeated by Christopher Casati, 6-1, 7-6. Tim Corwin defeated Sertkaya, 6-4, 5-7, 10-6. Fran Tonejc topped Peter Foersom, 6-2, 6-3.
