Hy-Vee to host Kristen Gillespie and Dan Muller Coaches Shows Tonight

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Redbird Basketball Coaches Shows, featuring Illinois State men's head coach Dan Muller and women's head coach Kristen Gillespie will air tonight live from Hy-Vee Market Grille in Bloomington, Illinois. Fans unable to attend the show can listen live on WJBC 1230-AM or GoRedbirds.com, as Muller and Gillespie preview their upcoming Missouri Valley Conference matchups.

The Kristen Gillespie Show, hosted by Greg Halbleib, starts out the night at 6 p.m. Gillespie will be joined by senior guard Viria Livingston. The women's team (7-9, 1-4 MVC) travels in the week of Missouri Valley Conference play, facing off against Evansville on Friday, Jan. 19, and at Indiana State on Sunday, Jan. 21. Livingston has played and started in all 16 games during the season, and has reached double-figure scoring three times. She also has two double-figure rebounding games, including a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds at Valparaiso on Jan. 5.

The Dan Muller Show follows at 7 p.m., hosted by Dick Luedke and Mike Matthews. Muller will be joined by sophomore guard Matt Hein. The men's team (9-9, 3-3 MVC) hosts Bradleyon Wednesday evening at 6 p.m., before traveling to Indiana State for a Saturday, Jan. 20 contest in Terre Haute. Hein has played in 17 games this season with seven starts. He has scored a career-high 12 points against Indiana State on Dec. 31, and scored nine points on 3-of-5 shooting from long range in the team's most recent game against Southern Illinois.

Fans are invited to watch Monday's shows live at the Hy-Vee Market Grille, located at: 1403 N. Veterans Parkway, in Bloomington. However, for those unable to attend the show in person, it will be broadcast live on WJBC 1230-AM and on GoRedbirds.com.
