Illinois State (7-7-2, 2-2-0) will host Indiana State (6-6-3, 0-3-1) Wednesday in a mid-week Missouri Valley Conference match-up. Kickoff at Adelaide Street Field is set for 6 p.m.
The Redbirds lead the all-time series 20-4 with the Sycamores and have won a commanding 13 of the last 14 matches. Their last meeting in 2017 resulted in a 2-1 Indiana State victory, marking the first time the Sycamores defeated Illinois State since 2008.

Indiana State – What You Need to Know
The Sycamores have yet to win a conference game, most recently falling to Northern Iowa 2-1 at home on Friday. Senior forward Katie Wells scored the lone goal for Indiana State in the 51st minute, but it was not enough to overcome two first half goals by the Panthers. Junior Hannah Sullivan had four saves in goal for the Sycamores.
Last Time Out
Illinois State edged Loyola 3-2 in overtime to earn their second conference win of the season on Saturday. Redshirt sophomore Abby Basler, freshman Logan Ziegler and junior Mikayla Unger all netted goals for the Redbirds, with Unger scoring the golden goal after regulation to upset the Ramblers in thrilling fashion in front of their home crowd. Riley O'Brien, Hannah Mueller, and Alissa Ramsden all earned their first career assists and junior Haley Smith had four saves in goal.
Following their performances in the weekend match, Unger and Ziegler both earned MVC Player of the Week honors. Unger was named Offensive Player of the Week and Ziegler was chosen as Newcomer of the Week. Illinois State has now been recognized in weekly conference honors five times this season.
