Illinois State (9-7-2, 4-2-0) will host UNI (8-7-2, 3-3-0) Thursday in the final match of the regular season. Kickoff at Adelaide Street Field is set for 4 p.m.
The Redbirds lead the all-time series with the Panthers, 14-5. In 2017, UNI bested the 'Birds twice in Cedar Falls, Iowa in both MVC regular season and postseason play with 1-0 scores.

Most recently, the Panthers defeated Valparaiso 3-0 at home on Saturday, scoring all three goals in the first half and eliminating the Crusaders from postseason contention. Sophomore forward Sydney Hayden had two of UNI's three goals, scoring them in the 8th and 25th minutes, to give her five goals on the year. Sophomore Jordyn Rolli also netted a goal in the 17th minute.
Junior goalkeeper Jami Reichenberger made 12 saves on 17 shots faced to maintain the shutout. She leads the Valley in total saves with 103 this season.
Last Time Out
Illinois State overpowered Evansville (4-10-2, 2-3-1) on the road Sunday with a 3-1 victory in Evansville. Sophomore Natalie Vaughn-Low scored first for the 'Birds for the second match in a row, with redshirt sophomore Abby Basler recording a brace with goals in the 77th and 85th minutes. With the win, Illinois State secured their place in MVC postseason play and improved their winning streak to three games.
