Illinois State (6-6-2, 1-1-0) returns to Adelaide Street Field Sunday to host Missouri Valley Conference opponent Valparaiso (3-6-2, 0-2-0) on their senior day. Kickoff for the Redbirds and Crusaders is set for 1 p.m. Fans should plan to be at Adelaide Street Field by 12:45 p.m. to watch the pregame senior day ceremony.
The Redbirds hold a commanding 6-0 all-time series lead with their last meeting resulting in a 1-0 Illinois State win in 2017 at Brown Field.

Valparaiso – What You Need to Know
Valpo most recently played UIC (2-11-1, 1-3-0) to a 0-0 double overtime draw on Wednesday at home. The Crusaders outshot the Flames 17-9 and 6-3 in shots on goal, but ultimately could not find the back of the net. Senior goalkeeper Drew Moulton tallied three saves on the night.
The Crusaders will be searching for their first conference win, falling to Evansville and Drake previously, both by 1-0 decisions.
Last Time Out
Illinois State dropped a 4-0 decision to IUPUI (5-6-3, 2-1-1) Monday night. The Redbirds had been undefeated at home during the 2018 campaign and now move to 4-1-1 at Adelaide Street Field.

Tomorrow's match will serve as Illinois State's senior day as seniors Angel Krell, Kiley Czerwinski, and manager Matt Tobolt will all be honored in a pregame ceremony. Fans should plan to arrive at Adelaide Street Field by 12:45 p.m. in order to see the ceremony. The concession special will be $1 root beer floats. All regular-season home games are FREE admission!
