NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State men's basketball program invites all fans to celebrate Social Media Night with the Redbirds, as head coach Dan Muller and his squad welcome Ole Miss to Redbird Arena on Saturday, Dec. 8. The game was scheduled as a result of the now-infamous tweet by Coach Muller after being left out of the 2017 NCAA basketball tournament.
The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a scratch-off card upon entrance to the arena. From that, 1,000 lucky fans will win a Coach Dan Muller Bitmoji Bobblehead, but more winners will receive other special offers.
At halftime, the professional gymnastics troupe and acrobatic team from Chicago – The Chicago Boyz – will perform. Most recently the group competed on NBC's hit reality competition series "America's Got Talent."
Leading up to the game, and on gameday, fans are encouraged to use the hashtag #BeatOleMiss when posting on social media.
As always, fans can purchase a family pack of tickets for Illinois State men's basketball games. Included in that family pack is four tickets, four drinks, four hot dogs, and a parking pass for the game.
