"David Rauer & Zach Burry gave us key rounds to keep us in a good position going into tomorrow," said head coach Ray Kralis. "I believe we'll come back with a strong team effort in round two. We have certainly demonstrated the ability to bounce back throughout the year and know we are capable of setting the pace as well. It is a tremendous advantage to be able to draw on those experiences."
The Redbirds will continue play Tuesday with the second round, as all five student-athletes will tee off at 10 a.m. The tournament concludes Wednesday, March 16, with the third and final round.
