NORMAL, Ill. – Due to impending inclement weather in the Chicago area Sunday night and Monday, Illinois State's nonconference finale at DePaul, originally scheduled for a 4 p.m. first pitch on Monday afternoon, has been cancelled. The single game between the Redbirds and the Blue Demons will not be made up.
Illinois State will resume action at Marian Kneer Stadium next weekend when it hosts Evansville for more Missouri Valley Conference action. A doubleheader between the Redbirds and the Purple Aces is slated to start at 12 p.m. on Saturday before the series finale on Sunday at 11 a.m.
