NORMAL, Ill.  – Next weekend, Redbird fans can watch the 2019-20 Illinois State men's and women's basketball teams on Doug Collins Court at Redbird Arena for the first time at the annual Hoopfest season tip-off event, Friday, Oct. 18, beginning after the conclusion of the women's volleyball match against Loyola Chicago.
Hoopfest and the volleyball match are both free and open to the public. Hoopfest will include a preview of the men's and women's basketball teams, a three-point contest, scrimmages, and an autograph session for fans.
Parking is free and available in lots surrounding Redbird Arena. One fan in attendance will be selected to shoot a half-court shot with the chance to win free Papa John's Pizza for a year.

Single-game tickets for both men's and women's basketball are set to go on sale to the public on Oct. 14.
