PEORIA, Ill. – Illinois State lost the final game of the series at Bradley on Sunday afternoon, 7-2. The Redbirds scored their runs in the final inning of the game, but ultimately fell short. The Redbirds (30-21, 12-6) are back in action on Tuesday against SIUE.

Scoring Breakdown:
- The Braves got on the scoreboard first in the home half of the fourth inning on a single to right field to drive the first run across the plate, 1-0.
- Bradley scored four runs on four hits in the bottom of the fifth inning to extend its lead, 5-0.
- The Braves added two more runs to their lead in the home half of the sixth inning on a two-run home run to make the score, 7-0.
- In the top of the ninth inning, Gaines hit a sacrifice fly to right field to drive home Joe Aeilts. Joe Butler would later score in the inning on a balk to conclude the scoring in the game.
