Salute To Agriculture Night Set For September 7

NORMAL, Ill. – The Redbird Tent Zone will have a different feel for the 2019 Illinois State football season opener on Sept. 7, as the area will be transformed to celebrate the first Redbird Salute to Agriculture Night, presented by CASE IH and Wyffels Hybrids.

The new free event will run from 4-6 p.m. in the Redbird Tent Zone located north of Hancock Stadium and will coincide with the annual Spack Stache Bash where free mustaches are available while supplies last. The event will be highlighted by the Feudin' Hillbillys performing live in the first of a four game concert series this season brought to you by BANG Energy.

Tents and attractions from several local businesses will be in attendance, including The Children's Discovery Museum, Rader Family Farms, a Barnyard Discoveries petting zoo, BANG Energy, the ISU Dept. of Agriculture, the ISU Office of Sustainability and the McLean County Farm Bureau.

In addition, for this game only, Reggie's Fun Zone will be located in the Redbird Tent Zone. Fun on the Run will have inflatables for kids to enjoy and the Zoo Lady will be on site for face painting.

Season, partial-plan and single-game tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at GoRedbirds.com/tickets or by calling the ISU Athletics Ticket office at (309) 438-8000.
