NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State Athletics Department announced in July that it will offer beer and wine sales at public concession stands in general seating areas at Hancock Stadium and Redbird Arena beginning in the fall of 2019.
Prices and policies have now been set by the ISU Athletics Department and Sodexo, ISU Athletics' concession and catering partner. Sodexo will administer and have oversight of all alcohol sales at Hancock Stadium and Redbird Arena moving forward.
All patrons wishing to purchase alcoholic beverages must be 21 years of age or older and must have a valid ID at the time of purchase. Wristbands will also be issued to each person with the purchase of beer or wine, and each patron will only be allowed to purchase two drinks per transaction. Football sales will end following the third quarter, and volleyball sales will end following the third set.
Domestic beer will be sold in 16 oz. aluminum bottles for $6 and craft beer selections will be sold in 16 oz. cans for $7. Wine will be sold for $6 at available locations.
