COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Illinois State Redbirds climbed three spots on the final day of the MVC Preview and look to carry that momentum into the Johnie Imes Invitational, hosted by the University of Missouri.

Format: 54-hole tournament with 18 holes during each of the three days of the event.
Competing Teams: Missouri, Little Rock, Arkansas State, Florida Gulf Coast, Florida International, Fresno State, Illinois State, Mercer, UMKC, Missouri State, Northern Illinois, Oral Roberts, South Dakota, Southern Illinois, and Wichita State.
Illinois State Golfers (tee time): Ali Schrock (9:30 am), Paige Seiser (9:39 am), Becca Black (9:48 am), Emma Sutton (9:57 am), Tatum King (10:06 am). The Redbirds are golfing along with Florida International and Mercer.

History at the Event: This season is the 12th consecutive season that Missouri has hosted this event and the third straight year that the Redbirds have played in the event. Last season ISU was led by now-seniors Black and Seiser who each tied for 16th by shooting a five-over final score over the three rounds. As a team, Illinois State placed ninth overall in the field.
Next Time Out: The Redbirds get a weekend off before traveling to Dayton, Ohio, to compete in the Dayton Invitational, hosted at the NCR North Course.
