LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Behind multiple two-out, run-scoring hits, the Little Rock Trojans (1-0) handled Illinois State (0-1) Friday afternoon at Gary Hogan Field in the first game of the season for both teams.

Scoring Breakdown:
- Little Rock opened up the scoring in the fifth inning, scoring two runs on three hits.
- The Trojans added two more runs in their half of the sixth inning on back-to-back RBI singles with two outs in the frame.
- A two-out, two-RBI double by Miguel Soto in the seventh gave the Trojans some insurance late in the game.
