Redbirds Announce Promotions for I-74 Rivalry Game

NORMAL, Ill.  – The Illinois State marketing department has announced a series of promotions for the Wednesday night contest against ISU's I-74 rival Bradley. Tip-off for the game at Redbird Arena will start at 6 p.m.

Students registered to graduate this year will receive a free #ProtectTheNest t-shirt and pizza while supplies last courtesy of Student Alumni Council at Illinois State University. Those wanting to pick up t-shirts will need to have their student ID handy upon arrival. Current four-year members of Red Alert can pick up their official 2020-21 member t-shirt at the game, with your student ID.

Students are also encouraged to arrive early and be in your seats prior to tip-off to participate in the annual confetti toss.

At halftime, Gamma Phi Circus alumnus and National halftime performer Cornell Freeney will be performing his German Wheel act.

The first 2,000 students in attendance will receive a foam finger courtesy of the University Program Board (UPB) at Illinois State University. Be in attendance and have your foam finger ready to go for the third media timeout of the first half as we attempt to set an unofficial world record for most foam fingers waving simultaneously. UPB students will be on campus the next three days handing out 400 free tickets to the game for students.
