NORMAL, Ill. – Following an announcement made by the Missouri Valley Conference on Friday, all Illinois State spring sports competitions have been canceled for the remainder of the 2019-20 academic year.
The MVC Presidents Council made the decision to cancel all intercollegiate competitions, including MVC championships, with the well-being and safety of its student-athletes, administrators, coaches, media and fans in mind. Â
