Weibring Golf Club To Open With Restrictions On May 1

NORMAL, Ill. – In accordance with the Governor's executive order, the golf course at Weibring Golf Club will re-open for play on Friday, May 1, with several strict guidelines in place to protect the health and safety of all patrons.

The golf course will be available for walking only, with no golf carts (club owned or private owned) available for use. All play will be in twosomes and tee time intervals will be 18 minutes. Tee times can be booked in advance at www.isugolf.com. Golfers are asked to please keep distance between groups in front and behind.

Advance tee times are encouraged; however walk-ins will be able to play on a space available basis. Discounted rates will be offered: 18 holes walking - $25; 18 holes walking (Sr., Jr. ISU faculty, staff and student) - $20; 9 holes walking - $15 (Monday through Sunday, expire May 30, 2020). Patrons are asked to pay for your round and green fees online at before coming to the course (season pass holders will need to call the golf shop when they arrive for their tee time).

Golfers are asked to arrive for their tee time 5-10 minutes prior and call the golf shop at 309-438-8065 to check in and verify your payment has been received. Once verified, the golf shop staff will direct you to begin play at hole No. 1. All practice areas including the chipping greens and putting green will be closed, as will the clubhouse and snack bar.
    
Guidelines are expected to remain in place through at least the month of May. Please note, all processes are subject to change as the situation continues to evolve. 

Player Guidelines
•    Any players (or players from a household with someone) with any symptoms of COVID-19, should not play.
•    Please wash your hands and bring hand sanitizer with you and utilize whenever possible.
•    No congregating or handshakes and maintain social distancing guidelines of six feet between players. 
•    Players should pick up their own ball and handle their own scorecard.
•    Bring your own towel, water and snack.
