ISU Students Urged To Take Part In Redbird Soccar Challenge Presented Papa John’s

NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State Athletics, Redbird Sports Properties and Mainline have partnered to host a series of eSports tournaments, with the first being the Redbird Soccar Challenge Presented Papa John's.

The single-elimination 3v3 Rocket League Tournament is open to ISU students only and will take place on Feb. 5 beginning at 6 p.m. Registration opens Monday, Jan. 11 at 11a.m. and runs through Feb. 4th at 5 p.m. All participants must be on a platform eligible to compete via cross-play and own Rocket League. Players may use PS4, Nintendo Switch, Steam, or Xbox One to compete in this tournament.

All participants will get a free specialty Papadia and prizes for winners include:
•    1st place: Free pizza for a year and a gift card to Alamo II
•    2nd place: Free pizza for 6 months and a gift card to Alamo II
•    3rd place: Free pizza for 3 months and a gift card to Alamo II
•    4th place: Free pizza for a month
