SERIES HISTORY

Illinois State leads the all-time series, 16-6-1, going 1-0-1 against the Panthers in the spring. Illinois State is 10-2 on the road in the series. The match will be the third time the teams have played in the last 192 days.

LAST TIME OUT (AT MISSOURI STATE)

The Redbirds generated numerous second-half chances, including a 47th-minute shot by junior Katharine Ashley that was saved off the line by an MSU defender. After a tackle by junior Haley Glover, fifth-year senior Natalie Vaughn-Low dribbled down the right side, sneaking a right-footed shot from 12 yards out just inside the near post. Vaughn-Low also scored an OT golden goal at Missouri State in the 2019 MVC finals. ISU outshot MSU, 15-6.

TWO WITH THREE-PLUS, SIX WITH TWO-PLUS

Fifth-year senior Natalie Vaughn-Low is tied for the MVC lead with four goals while senior Riley O'Brien is tied for the fifth with three. Illinois State and Drake are the only teams in the MVC with two players with three-plus goals. In addition to Vaughn-Low and O'Brien, fifth-year senior Sarah LaFayette, redshirt junior Indianna Asimus, junior Allison Baker and junior Katherine Felton each have two goals, making the 'Birds the only team in the MVC with six (or even five players) with two-plus goals.

SANTOS BREAKING RECORDS

Fifth-year senior Ashley Santos broke the program's all-time record for matches started with her 83rd start on 9/25 (besting NWSL draftees Rachel Tejada and Kate Del Fava) before breaking Del Fava's matches played record with her 85th on 9/29. She is on pace to break the all-time minutes played record on Oct. 17.
