NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State Softball will be hosting pitching, catching, and hitting clinics in Horton Field House this fall and winter, open to softball players ranging from seventh grade to junior college.
The first clinic will take place on Sunday, November 14, 2021. A pitching and catching clinic will be combined and start at 9:30 a.m. The hitting clinic will be begin at 1:00 p.m.
The second clinic is set for Sunday, January 9, 2022. This clinic will only offer a pitching and a hitting clinic. The pitching clinic begins at 9:30 a.m. with the hitting clinic following at 1:00 p.m.
Check-in will start 30 minutes prior to the start of the clinic, so please plan to arrive about a half hour before your clinic starts.
All clinics will take place inside Horton Field House and all participants are required to have a mask with them. Please bring your own equipment (gloves, bats, batting gloves, catcher's gear, etc.) and make sure to wear gym shoes as this will be inside.
It is $150 for one clinic or $250 for two clinics. The cost includes instruction, insurance, and a camp t-shirt. No refunds will be given if you sign up and are unable to attend. For more information on what each clinic will entail, please download the registration form.
Online registration is not available. All participants are required to mail in their registration to the address on the registration form along with their payment. Registration forms are attached to this story and forms/payment must be turned in the Tuesday prior to the clinic you are registering for (November clinic – Nov. 9, 2021; January clinic – Jan. 4, 2022).
