KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Due to a copious amount of rain and unfavorable field conditions, Illinois State's doubleheader against UT Martin and Northern Kentucky on Friday has been canceled.
The Redbirds will now play a doubleheader on Saturday against Northern Kentucky and Central Michigan. Illinois State's previously scheduled contest against the Chippewas will remain a 4:30 p.m. CT, while the Redbirds will add a game ahead of that matchup with the Norse. First pitch between ISU and Northern Kentucky is set for 2 p.m. CT.
