Last Time Out
ISU's comeback effort at Loyola Chicago fell short on Sunday, as the 'Birds dropped a 3-2 decision to the top-ranked Ramblers.
Loyola was able to gain the advantage right from the start, as Katharine Stephens scored just 20 seconds into the match. Senior Sarah LaFayette evened the score seven minutes later, slipping a ball through off a cross from fellow senior Abby Basler.
A pair of Rambler goals in the 25th and 28th minute gave home team a 3-1 lead before junior Riley O'Brien scored just before halftime unassisted.
Neither team could convert on any shots in the second half, as the game ended 3-2. Priya Gillan had two saves in goal for the Redbirds.
