NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State swimming and diving team wrapped up its regular season on Saturday with a 157-116 over Little Rock to improve to 4-1 in Missouri Valley Conference dual meet action this season.
"Today was a lot of fun and I can't thank Little Rock enough for being willing to try out a virtual meet with us," head coach Caitlin Hamilton shared. "It gave us a final tune-up opportunity racing and the ability to recognize and congratulate the seniors. It's about to be a great couple of weeks getting ready for the championship."

The Redbirds won all but four individual events and a relay this afternoon. Today's individual event champions were:
Cassidy Carey – 100-yard backstroke (57.28), 200-yard backstroke (2:04.95)
Raegan Follis – 200-yard freestyle (1:52.49), 100-yard freestyle (52.42)
Sarah Hein – 200-yard butterfly (2:05.06)
Emily Keebler – 200-yard IM (2:13.14)
Haley Rivera – 200-yard breaststroke (2:27.73)
Diana Walker – 1000-yard freestyle (10:31.79), 500-yard freestyle (5:08.93)
Illinois State went 1-2-3 in the 200-yard freestyle as Olivia Gonder and Jordan Peterson turned in times of 1:52.76 and 1:55.00, respectively, as well as the 200-yard butterfly with second- and third-place finishes by Lauren Naeger (2:06.17) and Rivera (2:08.87).
The Redbird quartet of Gonder, Carey, Kenzie Weber and Madyson Morse won the 200-yard medley relay (1:47.63), while Weber, Gonder, Morse and Julie Kolar secured a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:40.15).
